Remote IT Support makes help and support faster, lower cost, greener and no in person contact. Remote IT Support is a great tool for on screen demonstrations. By sharing the mouse pointer, both parties can easily follow along. Remote Support requires Internet Connection with recommended speeds of 3 Mbps DOWN and 2 Mbps UP or faster. Michigan Computers ® offers a few methods of remote support.

Method 1 - Quick Assist
Microsoft Windows Only. Quick Assist is a new app in Windows that enables you to receive or provide assistance over a remote connection. We encourage you to try Quick Assist for a more streamlined, easy-to-use experience.
Open Quick Assist
Select Start > Quick Assist.
Get assistance
Select Start > Quick Assist (or select the Start button, type Quick Assist in the search box, then select it in the results). In the Code from assistant box, enter the 6-digit code you were given, and select Share screen. Wait for your helper, then select Allow in the window that displays.
